Summary:

  • Process and maintain title and loan documents accurately.
  • Assist with lending calls, payments, and loan maintenance.
  • Organize records and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
  • Provide professional, timely service to members and staff.

Role:

Perform operational and administrative tasks as title clerk and also assist the lending operations department with telephone and Invo calls and loan maintenance functions . Ensures thoroughness and accuracy of documents, processing and payments. Provide assistance to staff by maintaining and organizing documents in relation to job duties.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills: 1. Must have good communication skills. 2. Knowledge of title documentation requirements. 3. Have understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures. Utilize knowledge to promote the credit union and the credit union movement. 4. To provide prompt, accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional service to all members and co-workers. 5. Professional is appearance, dress, attitude, and telephone skills. 6. Ability to operate general office equipment such as copier, computer, and other credit union provided equipment. 7. Must be able to operate related computer software as provided by the credit union.
