At American Health Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology and a compassionate team approach. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused MRI Technologist on a part-time basis to join our outpatient imaging center in Beaumont, TX.

Work Schedule: Saturdays, 8:00am-5:00pm

 

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)
  • Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
  • Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
