As a Process Operator, you will gain hands-on experience producing high-quality products in one of G-3 Chickadee's chemical manufacturing plants. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Perform routine operation of process and mechanical equipment; control, monitor and adjust as necessary

• Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety and environmental problems and identify equipment requiring maintenance

• Review, analyze, and interpret lab data, control system monitoring information, and log information from previous shifts to identify problems and make decisions

• Clean and maintain a safe work environment

• Abide by standard work procedures and job safety standards, including required PPE

• Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights and/or confined spaces when applicable

• Adhere to company attendance policy

• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

• Understand and follow all instructions, both orally and in writing


Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

• Must be able to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements

• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

• Basic computer skills


Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Process Operations Technology

• Process Operations Technology certification

• Previous manufacturing experience with basic mechanical knowledge

• Previous experience as a Process Operator in a chemical, rubber, or petroleum environment

• Distributed Control System (DCS) experience

• Vocational or technical training

• Mechanical or technical apprenticeship experience

• Military technical experience

• Strong understanding of mechanical concepts and problem-solving ability

• Experience adhering to industry-specific safety standards
