Job Overview:

Job Summary**

The Civil Superintendent at Primoris Pipeline, Inc. will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil construction activities on pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Job Responsibilities**

* Direct and supervise all onsite civil construction activities, including excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and restoration.
* Interpret and enforce project plans, specifications, and permits to ensure compliance.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Develop and implement daily and weekly work schedules, allocating resources effectively.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
* Inspect work for quality assurance and ensure all work meets established standards.
* Manage equipment and materials, including procurement, tracking, and maintenance.
* Prepare daily reports, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
* Train and mentor crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Oversee site restoration and demobilization activities upon project completion.

Job Qualifications**

* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Civil Superintendent or a similar supervisory role in pipeline construction.
* Proven track record of successfully managing civil construction projects of varying complexity.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and heavy equipment operation.
* Thorough knowledge of pipeline construction techniques, relevant regulations, and safety standards (OSHA, DOT).
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites.
* Ability to work extended hours and in challenging outdoor environments.
* OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
