Bookkeeper
Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist with a strong foundation in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This role will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including invoicing, payment processing, and a small amount of journal entry work. Candidates with experience in either AP or AR will be considered, though exposure to both is preferred.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, comfortable working in QuickBooks, and eager to jump into a fast‑paced, hands-on role.
Responsibilities
- Process AP and AR transactions, including vendor invoices, customer billing, and payment posting
- Perform basic journal entries and assist with month‑end tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks
- Reconcile accounts and support general bookkeeping activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies
- Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (AP, AR, or general bookkeeping)
- Experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
- QuickBooks proficiency (highly preferred)
- Strong overall accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and learn quickly
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a construction or manufacturing environment (not required but a plus)
- Experience handling both AP and AR responsibilities
- Strong understanding of invoicing, reconciliation, and basic journal entries

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
