ABOUT THE CO-OP PROGRAM

Bose Corporation is seeking students to participate in our Co-op Program who share our belief that sound is power. During the six-month co-op, students will have the chance to apply classroom learning in a hands-on work environment. Co-op participants will network across the business to gain diverse perspectives within Bose Corporation. Additionally, co-ops will connect with other students and colleagues, building valuable professional relationships for the future.

Fall Co-op: Candidates must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) in an in-office format from July 13 through December 18, 2026. No relocation assistance is available.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Research Co-Op to join Audio Systems Engineering team and help develop and test new technologies.  In this role…

  • Work on research-based projects that provide value to the global system engineering team.
  • Code projects in MATLAB, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Test the code you create on custom prototype hardware and suggest improvements.
  • Work closely with the Automotive Audio Team creating cutting edge audio system experiences

REQUIREMENTS

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • BS or MS student in their Junior or Senior year.
  • Computer Science major or Engineering student with a Computer Science (or equivalent) minor.
  • Proficient in MATLAB and object-oriented programming.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized individual

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is: $29.00-$37.25 per hour.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
