Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Office - Boca Raton, FL 33487Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: DayPosition Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Front-End Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and back-end developers, to design and implement user interfaces that elevate the overall user experience of our web applications. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into clean, efficient, and maintainable code using your expertise in JavaScript, CSS, and accessibility best practices. While not required, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring and developing Duck Creek applications, with a focus on their UX3 configuration toolset. Key Responsibilities: Front-End Development: Configure, customize, and develop the front-end experiences of the core policy administration applications to meet the requirements of the business. This includes but is not limited to the website, quoting application, online portals, and policy administration systems.  Leverage a component-driven design approach for creating reusable and scalable UI components.  Requirement Analysis: Work closely with business analysts and back-end developers to understand the business requirements and to integrate front-end logic with server-side logic. UX Design and Enhancement: Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces based on design specifications.  Implement modern and user-friendly interfaces to improve usability and customer satisfaction. Integration: Integrate the core policy administration application with other systems and third-party services as needed. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of configured solutions to ensure accuracy, functionality, and performance. Debug and resolve any issues identified during testing phases. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to front-end configurations, customizations, and developments. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project managers. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide regular updates on the progress of tasks. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web front-end development. Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.     QualificationsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. Extensive experience (3+ years) as a Front-End Developer or similar role. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.  Experience with responsive design and mobile development.  Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.  Experience in adjusting themes within design systems.  Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.  Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.  Preferred Skills: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).  Knowledge of server-side technologies and back-end development.  Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq). Understanding of insurance processes, policies, and regulations.
