About The Position

 We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position through Barton Associates to provide coverage at a hospital in Massachusetts. This 60-day assignment begins on 10/06/2025 and requires expertise in general family practice, including well child checks, routine and complex care follow-up visits, and bi-annual physicals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The NP will handle a variety of cases including coughs, colds, sore throats, ear and eye infections, fever, and minor injuries. • Perform general family practice procedures

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Collaborate with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals

• Utilize on-site full-service lab for patient care

• Manage overflow patients from other offices


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Massachusetts

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
