How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead patient assessments to develop and implement customized respiratory care plans, ensuring the type and frequency of treatment align perfectly with the patient’s diagnosis.
  • Deliver advanced respiratory therapies and monitor complex equipment to ensure physiological stability, while documenting and communicating real-time changes in patient condition.
  • Evaluate clinical outcomes by continuously reviewing the effectiveness of respiratory practices and medications, pivoting treatment strategies to ensure the highest quality of recovery.
  • Drive patient and family empowerment through dedicated education on health conditions and community resources, while providing expert intervention during emergency resuscitation and codes.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire
    date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
