Job Summary/Basic Function

Visiting Assistant Professor of International Business and Management   

The International Business and Management Department at Dickinson College invites applications for aĀ one-yearĀ Visiting Assistant ProfessorĀ positionĀ inĀ the broad area ofĀ finance,Ā with the potential for renewal for anĀ additionalĀ year, beginningĀ fallĀ semesterĀ 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to teachĀ fiveĀ courses inĀ finance areas, including introductory and advanced levels of corporate finance and investments, with the possibilityĀ ofĀ one repetition.   

  

Dickinson College is aĀ selective liberal arts college in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with a national reputation for leadership in global and sustainability education. Responsibilities:  

Develop syllabi, assignments, assessments, and course schedules to meet learning outcomes; develop and deliver content using Dickinson College's teaching platforms; hold office hours; and fulfill departmental and faculty obligations. Courses will be taught in person on the Dickinson College campus.

Qualifications:   

M.A., M.S., or MBAĀ required; CPA, CFA, Ph.D., or A.B.D. preferred. Alternatively, a CPA with 5+ years of work experience in theĀ financeĀ field may be considered in lieu of a graduate degree. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching both introductory and intermediate-levelĀ courses and/or diverse student groups.
