Summary/Objective The Director of Rehabilitation Services provides strategic and operational leadership for Rehabilitation Services, Outreach Programs, and Tactical Athlete Programs across multiple locations. This position is responsible for ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, staff development, and exceptional patient outcomes while supporting organizational growth and partnering closely with physicians and executive leadership. Provide strategic leadership for Rehabilitation, Outreach, and Tactical Athlete programs across all locations. Oversee the operations, performance, and growth of the rehabilitation department while ensuring consistency in patient care and service delivery. Partner with physicians, executive leadership, and interdisciplinary departments to achieve organizational goals and exceptional patient outcomes. Direct staffing, onboarding, employee development, performance management, budgeting, and strategic planning. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies. Drive operational excellence, process improvement, productivity, and patient satisfaction. Maintain a limited clinical caseload representing (approximately 20-30% clinical capacity) to remain engaged in patient care, support clinical excellence, and provide mentorship to the rehabilitation team. Lead, coach, and mentor department managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Indiana Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy license, or ability to obtain licensure. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 10 years of progressive clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting. Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing operations, and driving organizational performance. Ability to travel between multiple clinic locations as needed. Preferred Multi-site rehabilitation leadership experience. Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, and operational management. Knowledge of quality improvement, accreditation, and healthcare compliance standards. Experience building physician relationships, community partnerships, and outreach programs.
