We are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Indianapolis studio!

What You'll Do:

  • Establish design approach at project start-up.
  • Leads client management.
  • Attend client, consultant, and design committee meetings.
  • Communicates and improves some design processes with other team members.
  • Manage project specific scope, budget and schedule.
  • Leads in planning, design and documentation of projects; prepares working drawings and stamps drawings.
  • Participates in all design and construction phases of projects.
  • Presents design to client and coordinates with other disciplines and consultants. 
  • Participates in project debriefs and lesson’s learned sessions.
  • Manages teams and assists other project team members in the development and maintenance of workplans.
  • May be involved in project/client pursuits.
  • Provide training and leadership through project work to empower, train and develop designers.

Education and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or Professional degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years of applicable experience. Experience with HVAC design in healing, learning and/or discovery market sectors preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure preferred.
  • Software Skills: Revit experience required; experience with energy modeling software and selection programs preferred.
  • Office Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
