The PA may perform duties as first assist in the OR under the direction of our Orthopedic Surgeons. There are 2 positions avialable - both with hand surgeons. Both are 2-3 days of clinic in Greenwood and/or Noblesville and 2-3 days of OR in Carmel.  One position is full time M-F 1.0 FTE One position could be full or part time.  0.6-1.0 FTE.  0.6 would be clinic only; Tuesdays in Noblesville, Wednesdays & Fridays in Greenwood. Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Obtains, compiles, and records patient medical data, health history, progress notes, and results of the examination Instructs and counsels patients about the prescribed therapeutic regimens Assists Orthopedic Surgeon during surgery or complicated medical procedures Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) a strong desire to practice patient-centered medicine an eagerness to work with team members a high degree of initiative, discretion and judgment an ability to multitask and effectively manage competing demands an overall commitment to excellence.  Work environment Typical professional medical clinic environment Ambulatory Surgery Center Physical demands Must be able to lift at least 50+ lbs.
