We’re seeking aĀ Senior Project ManagerĀ to focus on defining, planning, and implementing a diverse set of projects within theĀ Business TechnologyĀ organization. Ā You’ll work hand in hand with a large team of project managers and analysts, a driven set of technologists, and business and technology leaders from across the enterprise.Ā  You’ll leverage and balance a passion for agile software development with application of sound project management practices. Ā What you'll be doing:

Ā 
  • Be responsible for all aspects of project management and agile development team ceremonies. Additional responsibilities may include analysis, project delivery validation (QA/UAT), and other duties as assignedĀ 
  • Develop and refine project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, risks, and contingency plansĀ 
  • Lead large and sometimes global or virtual groups of multi-disciplinary teams with highly talented technical professionals through the execution of tasks defined in the planĀ 
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using a variety of techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changesĀ 
  • Manage dependencies across teams and collaborate with other project managers and team leaders to ensure overall project is completed within the parameters of the planĀ 
  • Ensure a common understanding across stakeholders and team members by setting and managing expectations in accordance with the project planĀ 
  • Gather, articulate, and represent project requirements for our agile software development teamsĀ 
  • Anticipate and measure project performance using various quantitative tools and techniques to monitor and communicate progress, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders in an unbiased mannerĀ 
  • Proactively identify and plan for risks as well as implement approved actions and workarounds to mitigate risk events to minimize the impact to the projectĀ 
  • Lead cross-functional assessments for projects in the Concept phase and drive the conversion of conceptual ideas into actionable and clearly understood project deliverables with feasible delivery timelinesĀ Ā 
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with other departments and organizations to recognize and actively manage dependencies associated with projectsĀ 
  • Generate key project deliverables and facilitate their reviewĀ 
  • Lead efforts to improve the way in which we manage projects via progressive tools, processes, and metricsĀ 
  • Develop and manage working relationship(s) with business stakeholders to facilitate project intake, define requirements, coordinate priorities, and solve problemsĀ 
  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, sometimes with C level executives to ensure communication is clear and teams are alignedĀ

What we're looking for:Ā

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 10 years of relevant work experience focusing project managementĀ Ā 
  • Demonstrated ability to execute on tasks that are sometimes vaguely defined using prior experience, analytical skills, and available researchĀ 
  • Thorough experience delivering projects using an agile methodologyĀ 
  • Experience managing project teams of 10 or more in multiple locations or complex multi-disciplinary projects that involve multiple project teamsĀ 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven mannerĀ 
  • Ability to work with and communicate, both written and verbally across multiple job levels, including C level executives to ensure alignment and achieve resultsĀ 
  • Ability to mentor junior project managers in the use of proven project management tools and practicesĀ 
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the timeĀ
