About The Position
 Barton Associates is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a pre-credentialing opportunity at a high-volume hospital Emergency Department in West Virginia. This position involves building a roster of 5-10 Emergency Medicine MDs and APPs for future coverage needs. The assignment will start on 08/04/2025 for a 60-day period, with various shift types available including day, night, and swing shifts. The ED is associated with an Academic Medical Center and utilizes a double physician coverage model with additional APP support. Successful candidates will be comfortable managing a wide range of emergency medicine cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency medical care for a diverse patient population
• Manage high-acuity cases in a busy ED setting
• Collaborate with in-house specialties and APPs
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in the double physician coverage model
• Adapt to varying shift schedules as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards
• Contribute to the academic environment of the medical center
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of West Virginia
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Experience in high-volume emergency departments desired
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required
• Flexibility to work various shift types
