About The Position
Opportunity Details
Medicus is collaborating with a leading hospital in Chicago, Illinois, with an opening for a skilled Breast Pathologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday, 2 weeks per month
- Call shifts available, but not required
- Setting: Inpatient
- Daily Volume: Varies, usually between 12-25 cases
- Cases: Breast pathology, frozen sections, tumor boards; no grossing required
- Team Structure: 50+ pathologists on staff at a full-service lab, 2-3 pathologists per subspecialty
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & expenses
