Purpose:

The Carpentry Technician, or Carpenter, will support the housing development team by performing skilled carpentry work and with achieving short- and long-term goals for residential construction and renovation projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide expertise on projects prior to purchase by attending showings
Assist with the creation of the scope of work to be performed for each project
Attend building inspections
Interpret blueprints and project plans
Maintain safety and compliance
Manage tools and materials
Collaborate with other trades
Provide training and shadowing opportunities

Requirements:

3-5 years' experience in residential carpentry, specifically with framing, drywall, insulation, finishings)
Understand architect blueprints
Know OSHA requirements, Lead-Safe, City Codes
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills

This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $51,000 - $53,000.
