Manager to oversee the strategy, implementation and maintenance of IT operations. Responsibilities will include:

  • Finance and Budget: Lead IT budget management including budget creation, operational and capital tracking, invoice posting, invoice coding, weekly and monthly reporting, etc.
  • Cloud Financial Operations: Lead cloud financial operations strategy and provide oversight of monitoring cloud spend.
  • IT Business Continuity: Advance IT business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts.
  • Process and Policy Management: Develop and maintain department policies, processes and standard operating procedures. Provide internal training to department and impacted end users.
  • Vendor and Contract Management: Lead vendor management and software license and IT access management program.
  • Change Control: Lead of IT Change Advisory Board.
  • Audit Management: Participate in internal and external audits; oversee and coordinate responses to audit requests.
  • Value Strategy: Monitor compliance with IT performance management. Prepare reports of department activities, tasks, and monitor operational metrics including compliance with policies, regulations, and customer requirements and service level agreements. Coordinate department LEM reporting.
  • IT Survey Coordination: Leads survey coordination and facilitation (Epic, Chime, AHA, etc.)
  • Stay up to date on evolving threats, technologies, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT strategy aligns to business goals.
  • Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify and manage operational risk.

    Job Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science; Information Systems or other related field 
    Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
    Revenue cycle information system knowledge including registration 
    HIM 
    Scheduling 
    Physician billing 
    Hospital billing in integrated delivery system
    5-7 years experience Information Systems Revenue Cycle, Customer relationship management including Management, Physicians and Vendors
    2-3 years experience Management Healthcare 

    Job Responsibilities:

    Manages day to day operations of revenue cycle information system team based on priorities established with key customers
    Partners with key hospital and physician customers to develop day to day operational priorities and larger strategic and operational projects 
    Manages IS projects that support strategic and operational priorities of customers
    Develops strong working relationships with other information system departments

    Conduct department huddles. Generally, clinical departments hold daily huddles, non-clinical hold weekly huddles. 
    Regularly Round on Team Members, using questions from the rounding log. 
    - 25 or fewer team members = monthly 
    - 26-50 team members = every other month 
    - 51+ (and optional team members) = quarterly 

    Lead monthly team meetings using meeting agenda template; review stoplight report; cascade key leadership messages.
