Job Description Summary

Organization's Summary Statement:

Assist the Head Coach with the organization, development, and implementation of a nationally competitive Division I program. This role emphasizes player development, recruiting assistance, and summer camp management, while providing operational support to the program. Key

Responsibilities:
Player Development & Practice: Assist the Head Coach in practice planning and execution. Actively participate in the on-court coaching and technical development of student-athletes.

Summer Camp Lead: Build, organize, and run the university’s Volleyball Summer Camps. Manage marketing, registration, staffing, and operations to generate revenue and promote the program.

Recruiting: Assist with recruiting efforts as assigned by the Head Coach, including evaluating and communicating with prospective student-athletes.

Scouting: Assist the coaching staff with opponent scouting and film breakdown to prepare the team for competition.

Assist in Operations and Logistics: Support the program's daily functions, including coordinating student-athlete housing arrangements and assisting with team operational needs.

Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations.

Physical Demands: The scope of the position frequently requires evening, weekend, and holiday work (non-standard work hours). While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and various office devices, including telephones, copy machines, and fax machines; frequently moves around the facility and event site before, during, and after events to assist clients; and consistently communicates with others via telephone, email, and in person to exchange accurate information. The position requires standing, walking, kneeling, or crouching, balancing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Preferences: Previous coaching experience; Collegiate or Club level preferred.
