Job Description:

The Role and the Team

Fidelity Institutional Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join us in the design and development of innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment.

You will play a leading role in the agile development of the web applications used by thousands of Registered Investment Advisors and Correspondents to deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions to their customers.  You will drive the technical analysis and support of our FI Trading systems, including gap analysis and code research from user interface to middleware and backend.  You will work closely with Product Owners and a development team to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up FI Trading Solution experiences.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technology preferred.

  • 8+ years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions

  • Financial industry experience preferred, and brokerage/trading experience strongly preferred

  • Demonstrable experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems

  • Solid grasp and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general

  • Proficiency with SQL tools and querying relational databases

  • Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON, Splunk and APIs

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • Excellent analytical skills
