The Bartender will be responsible for making alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by following recipes and delivering high-quality food and drinks in a clean and friendly environment.  The Bartender will also be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that are consistent and continually in accordance with the service standards of Mainsail Lodging & Development.What you have Â
High school diploma, equivalent, or higherÂ
Previous hospitality experienceÂ
2 years of bartending experience in high volume bar or restaurantÂ
General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentalsÂ
Excellent customer service skillsÂ
Strong communications skills, both verbal and writtenÂ
Ability to use technology, e.g., tablets, iPads, computers, and POSÂ
Experience working on a teamÂ
Ability to work quickly in a clean, organized, and effective mannerÂ
A sense of ownership in everything that you doÂ

What you’ll do Â
Serve guests in an efficient manner while following steps of service, preparing cocktails, pouring beer and wine, and making beverage recommendationsÂ
Food running to serve bar and bar area guestsÂ
Prep and stock bar for appropriate service period to ensure successful bar serviceÂ
Clean glasses, tools, utensils, and bar equipmentÂ
Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, including ingredients, preparations, and accompanimentsÂ
Curate guests’ bar experience by making recommendations based on guest preferences and needsÂ
Maintain knowledge of beverages including beer, wine, and liquorÂ
Collect and process payment for food and beverages served, making sure to follow proper cash handling proceduresÂ
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and coolersÂ
