🔧 What You’ll Do
As a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you’ll be the expert who keeps essential refrigeration systems operating at their best. Your responsibilities will include:
Servicing commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems—walk‑ins, freezers, reach‑ins, rack systems, and more.
Performing preventative maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.
Troubleshooting and repairing systems with confidence and minimal supervision.
Providing excellent customer service while representing Five Star Refrigeration in the field.
Following all safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
Participating in on‑call rotations in a 24/7 service environment (with premium pay for on‑call shifts).
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records.
Assisting in other service areas when needed to support the team.
đź“Ś What You Bring to the Team
3+ years of hands‑on experience in Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
Technical training through apprenticeships, RSES, trade school, or equivalent experience.
EPA Certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience working with a variety of refrigerants.
A commitment to quality, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a customer‑focused mindset.
