Armed Security Guard

Sentry Force Security is seeking professional, dependable, and licensed Armed Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment at Butler Place Apartments in Fort Worth, Texas. We are looking for officers who are alert, customer-service oriented, and committed to maintaining a strong security presence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property.
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Prevent trespassing, vandalism, theft, and other criminal activity.
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.
• Work closely with property management and local law enforcement when necessary.
• Enforce property rules while providing outstanding customer service to residents and visitors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer License (Armed).
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous apartment, residential, or public housing security experience.
• Military or law enforcement background.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
