Data Analyst
Total Site Solutions (TSS), Georgetown, TX., seeks a results-driven, detail-oriented Data Analyst to serve as the primary analytical resource for our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will translate transactional data from NetSuite—our ERP, WMS, and financial system of record—into actionable intelligence for production management, executive leadership, board members, auditors, and OEM customers. The ideal candidate brings strong NetSuite experience, advanced Excel proficiency, and a working knowledge of manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboards
- Build, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports including output vs. plan by line, cycle time analysis by stage, and throughput trends.
- Develop and maintain inventory position reports covering on-hand, on-order, committed, and net available quantities for critical BOM components.
- Create receiving throughput reports tracking dock-to-stock and dock-to-production cycle times.
- Build ship-readiness and on-time delivery tracking reports aligned with OEM customer commitments.
- Design and maintain executive-level dashboards suitable for board review and investor communications.
Cross-Functional Analysis
- Cross-reference multiple NetSuite saved searches and data sources to perform root-cause analysis on production variances, component shortages, and delivery gaps.
- Conduct BOM accuracy audits by comparing standard component requirements against actual backflush consumption, flagging variances exceeding defined thresholds.
- Analyze work order progression through manufacturing stages to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and process inefficiencies.
- Perform serial-number-level traceability analysis linking work orders to shipments for complete rack lifecycle visibility.
- Support the Material Review Board with variance data, trend analysis, and disposition recommendations.
SOX Compliance & Audit Support
- Develop and maintain SOX-relevant exception reports including backflush variance materiality reviews, inventory reconciliation documentation, and WIP balance validation.
- Produce audit-ready supporting schedules for cost of goods sold, inventory valuations, and manufacturing overhead allocations.
- Document all reporting methodologies, data sources, and calculation logic to meet audit trail requirements.
- Support internal and external audit requests with timely, accurate, and traceable data extracts.
Forecasting & Planning
- Build component demand forecasts based on open sales orders, production pipeline, and historical consumption patterns.
- Develop capacity utilization models for both production lines incorporating labor, equipment, and material constraints.
- Support quarterly guidance preparation with production volume projections and cost trend analysis.
- Model scenario analyses for capacity expansion, new customer onboarding, and operational process changes.
Data Infrastructure & Process Improvement
- Manage and optimize NetSuite saved searches serving as the foundation for operational reporting.
- Evaluate and implement data connectivity improvements including SuiteAnalytics Connect (ODBC/JDBC) for direct Excel and BI tool integration.
- Develop standardized data extraction templates and repeatable analytical workflows to reduce manual effort.
- Identify data quality issues in source systems and collaborate with operations and IT to resolve root causes.
- Leverage AI-assisted analytics tools to accelerate cross-dataset analysis and insight generation.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or operational reporting within a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.
- Direct experience with NetSuite ERP including saved searches, SuiteAnalytics Workbook, and report customization.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables, Power Query, INDEX/MATCH, data modeling, and complex formula construction.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience producing reports and analyses for executive leadership, board of directors, or external stakeholders.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations concepts: work orders, bills of materials, inventory management, backflush, and WIP accounting.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements for financial reporting and internal controls at a publicly traded company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SuiteAnalytics Connect (ODBC/JDBC) for direct database connectivity to external tools.
- Proficiency with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Basic SuiteScript or JavaScript knowledge for custom data extraction and automation.
- Experience in data-center hardware, server/rack assembly, or high-mix electronics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with OEM integration processes including EDI (856 ASN), customer portals, and compliance reporting.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement methodology experience.
Work Environment
- This position is on-site at our facility in Georgetown, TX.
- Primarily office-based with regular presence on the manufacturing floor to understand operational context and validate data against physical processes.
- Standard business hours with flexibility required during audit season, board preparation periods, and month/quarter-end close cycles.
- Reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
