Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician (Nocturnist) to join our dedicated team at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester, Virginia.

🩺 Role Responsibilities:

Provide in-hospital care for patients during overnight hours
Specialize in internal medicine and be certified in hospital medicine
Review health records and collaborate with primary care physicians
Serve as the sole provider during the patient’s hospital stay, coordinating care
Perform emergency procedures and respond to acute medical needs
Offer guidance to APPs and students working in the hospital overnight

🎓 Education & Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or equivalent foreign diploma
Completion of Internal Medicine Residency (ACGME-accredited)
- OR Family Medicine Residency with:
  - Minimum 3 years of hospitalist experience
  - OR completion of a Hospital Medicine Fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABIM or ABFM
Eligible for/Current Virginia Medical License
Valid DEA controlled substance registration
