About the Position
As an Agent in Training, you will focus on generating new business, building lasting relationships with clients, and delivering custom insurance solutions. You will develop your sales skills through hands-on training while working closely with an experienced team in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate leads through prospecting, referrals, and community involvement
Conduct personalized insurance consultations to identify client needs
Present and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance products
Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and support
Manage and track sales activity, follow-ups, and renewals using CRM systems
Ensure compliance with Farmers Insurance standards and California Department of Insurance regulations
Qualifications:
1–2 years of insurance, sales, or customer service experience preferred
Active Property & Casualty License (or willingness to obtain)
Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
Professional, organized, and dependable
