Construction Warehouse Technician

STRUCTURAL is looking to hire a Warehouse Technician for our construction warehouse in Hawthorne, NJ. As a Warehouse Technician for STRUCTURAL, you will be helping with organizing and maintaining construction materials and equipment within the branch warehouse.

The successful candidate will also be assisting with:

• Coordinating the acceptance, storage, and deliveries of materials and equipment in conjunction with the field managers and suppliers.

• Keeping a log of all equipment in the warehouse and in the field. 

• Tracking goods while they are en route to their destinations, expediting order when necessary.

• Shipping and routing of materials and equipment

• Loading equipment and material onto delivery trucks safely and efficiently.

• Monitoring tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shop to ensure safe working conditions.

• Keeping the warehouse safe, clean, and organized at all times.

• Working closely with mechanic to make sure all equipment is job ready when it leaves shop.

• Ensuring returned equipment is properly tagged, stored, and serviced for future use. 

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:

• 1+ year(s) experience in a construction warehouse setting

• Highly organized and efficient

• Knowledge/experience of basic computer operations

• Proven ability to lift 60lbs.

• Team focused and safety oriented.

• Ability to operate forklift and other construction equipment.

The schedule will be 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. (With opportunities for overtime)
