Under general supervision and reporting to the Payroll Manager, The Payroll Administrator is responsible to perform all activities necessary for multi-state US and international hourly and salaried payrolls, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments. The Payroll Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining data integrity, resolving payroll-related issues, and driving process improvements within the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.Â
- Accurately prepare, document, process, distribute and reconcile semi-monthly US multi-state salaried and hourly payroll, and monthly salaried international payrollÂ
- Manage end-to-end payroll process using Ulti-pro UKG and Blue Marble systemsÂ
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of jurisdictional legislation affecting payrollÂ
- Understand and follow applicable provisionsÂ
- Process deductions relating to federal, state, and local taxes, 401k contributions, garnishments, health, etc.Â
- Open and establish new state/local and country entities for new payrolls as requiredÂ
- Enter new hire information into the onboarding process for payroll system, benefits, and 401kÂ
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with payroll laws, tax regulationsÂ
- Adhere to tight deadlinesÂ
- Respond to and resolve any inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reportingÂ
- Follow all processing procedures, adhere to policies, and maintain confidentialityÂ
- Ensure payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptlyÂ
- Other duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree preferred and 3-5 years of related experience processing multi-state and international Payroll for 250+ employees.Â
- Any combination of education and experience may be considered.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is primarily remote; however the DFW area is strongly preferred.
Productivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction. Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others. Environment: Typical home office conditions, working directly with Senior Management, local and remote staff members, and external domestic and international payroll contacts. Low to moderate noise.
Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents required to work occasional extended hours.
