What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for a hands-on technician who knows their way around mechanical and electrical equipment and isn’t afraid of real field work.
As a Senior Field Service Technician, you’ll be out at customer sites diagnosing issues, repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and making sure systems are running safely and efficiently. You’ll work on mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment and take ownership of jobs from start to finish.
This role is for someone who can think on their feet, work independently, and represent the company professionally in front of customers.
What the Job Looks Like
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Diagnose problems in the field and determine the right fix
Maintain and track parts and inventory
Identify safety concerns and correct them
Drive a company vehicle to customer sites
Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately once per week)
Work extended days when needed (10–12 hour days are common)
Travel is expected but not constant. Some overnight travel may be required depending on customer needs.
What We’re Looking For
2–5+ years of hands-on technical experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Electrical and plumbing experience preferred
Comfortable working independently in the field
Self-driven and motivated — no micromanaging here
Solid troubleshooting skills
Good communication with customers
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, smart devices)
Industrial or commercial process water experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
Ability to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
Physical & Work Environment
Field-based, hands-on role
Regular lifting and physical labor
Industrial and outdoor environments
Exposure to weather, noise, and equipment

Compensation
The estimated pay range for this position is $25–$30 per hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. We offer a competitive compensation package along with a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
