What You’ll Be Doing

We’re looking for a hands-on technician who knows their way around mechanical and electrical equipment and isn’t afraid of real field work.

As a Senior Field Service Technician, you’ll be out at customer sites diagnosing issues, repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and making sure systems are running safely and efficiently. You’ll work on mechanical, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment and take ownership of jobs from start to finish.

This role is for someone who can think on their feet, work independently, and represent the company professionally in front of customers.

What the Job Looks Like

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections

  • Diagnose problems in the field and determine the right fix

  • Maintain and track parts and inventory

  • Identify safety concerns and correct them

  • Drive a company vehicle to customer sites

  • Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately once per week)

  • Work extended days when needed (10–12 hour days are common)

Travel is expected but not constant. Some overnight travel may be required depending on customer needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years of hands-on technical experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Electrical and plumbing experience preferred

  • Comfortable working independently in the field

  • Self-driven and motivated — no micromanaging here

  • Solid troubleshooting skills

  • Good communication with customers

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, smart devices)

Industrial or commercial process water experience is a plus but not required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card

  • Ability to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)

Physical & Work Environment

  • Field-based, hands-on role

  • Regular lifting and physical labor

  • Industrial and outdoor environments

  • Exposure to weather, noise, and equipment

This is not a desk job. It’s real work, in real environments, solving real problems.

Compensation

The estimated pay range for this position is $25–$30 per hour.
