Job DetailsJob Location: Indianapolis, IN 46288Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 SalaryPraetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation for the mission-critical industry, has partnered with an ENR 400 General Contractor in the Indianapolis area to place an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned PM who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to work for a well-established contractor with a strong institutional client base — including colleges, universities, K-12 districts, municipalities, and healthcare systems. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You'll own your projects from start to finish. That means leading one or more large-scale construction phase projects, managing project staff, and being the person the owner calls when they need answers. Day to day, you can expect to: Review plans and specs for accuracy and constructability — catching problems before they become field issues Write your own General Conditions and build out baseline schedules for subs and self-performing work Stay on top of project costs, change management, RFIs, and owner pay apps from kickoff through closeout Manage shop drawings and submittals and keep them moving so the field isn't waiting on you Write and execute subcontracts and purchase orders and hold your subs accountable to what they signed Run regular jobsite coordination meetings and keep everyone aligned Own the client relationship — communicate proactively, solve problems early, and make the owner feel like they're your only client WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field Experience with CMAR and/or Design-Build delivery Background managing institutional projects — higher ed, K-12, healthcare, or municipal work At least 3 years of PM experience with a commercial construction company — you've been in the seat, not just supporting it Strong understanding of project sequencing and scheduling — you know how a job is supposed to flow Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs at an advanced level  COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience Performance bonus eligibility Vehicle allowance Full benefits package — medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with employer match PTO plus company holidays  QualificationsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field Experience with CMAR and/or Design-Build delivery Background managing institutional projects — higher ed, K-12, healthcare, or municipal work At least 3 years of PM experience with a commercial construction company — you've been in the seat, not just supporting it Strong understanding of project sequencing and scheduling — you know how a job is supposed to flow Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs at an advanced level
