Job DetailsJob Location: Cleburne (new shop) - Cleburne, TX 76031Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: Skilled Labor - Trades As a Welder you will be responsible for welding, positioning, aligning and fitting miscellaneous steel components according to technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring that they meet design specifications and quality standards. Required Knowledge, Skill, Abilities, and Competencies: Basic Metalworking Skills: 路 Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic metalworking machinery. 路 Knowledge of shop machines and sand tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. 路 Basic understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, grinding, and drilling. Welder 1: 路 Proficient in welding flux core and/or hard wire 路 Knowledge of basic weld symbols 路 Basic knowledge of drawings 路 Knowledge of welding equipment and their settings Welder 2: 路 D1.1 certified flux core and hard wire 路 Advanced knowledge of weld symbols 路 Able to troubleshoot welding equipment and perform minor repairs 路 Correct unsatisfactory welds Welder 3: 路 Ability to train lower level welders 路 Quality check welds 路 Ability to weld multiple material types 路 Basic fitting skills 路 Knowledge and understanding of heat affected area and it鈥檚 reaction to base metal 路 Identify and perform corrective actions 路 Ability to interpret and understand blueprints and drawings Qualifications
