Job Description

We are hiring for Distribution - Forklift operators on our 2nd shift. You will work onsite at our plant in Kent WA manufacturing facility. You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Can rotate to all positions of Distribution Specialist. *

Maintain regular attendance.

Can work overtime to meet production deadlines.

Other Distribution Specialist tasks as assigned.

You will report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Must follow plant work standards, high quality and productivity standards per plant requirements.

Must understand safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

Meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others.

Treat all team members with respect and maintain with peers,

leadership and customers.

You will improve performance and work process through feedback, risk taking, and generating new ideas.

Understand their responsibility to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate actions.

Confront issues and communicate with all levels within the plant,

Accept accountability and responsibility for one's work.

Demonstrate flexibility to work varying hours and shifts, and Occasional to Frequent overtime.

Must be certified on forklift operation, passing both the written and behind-the-wheel test and pass annually re-certification.

Minimum 2 years of previous forklift driving. Must have driven a Forklift within the last 6 months.
