Aviation Line Service, Aircraft Detailer

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite - Kohler, WI 

Opportunity 

Marshalling and towing aircraft, in addition to supervising fueling operations. Accomplish minor hangar and office repairs and maintain exceptional hangar appearance. Interior and exterior detailing of Kohler corporate aircraft to include critical flight controls and instruments.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services while providing a welcoming atmosphere to customers and other guests.
  • Collaborate, cooperate, and work closely with all coworkers, customers, vendors, and aircraft crew members to ensure customer service needs are met. This includes ensuring efficient and accurate communication through various methods to accomplish operational tasks.
  • Perform marshaling and towing of aircraft arriving and departing ramp areas.
  • Supervise fueling operations.
  • Operate and drive ground service equipment such ground power units, tugs, and shuttles, etc.
  • Aircraft interior detailing to include cockpit, flight instruments, windshields, cabin, and lavatory areas.
  • Aircraft exterior detailing includes critical flight control surfaces, engine inlets, engine exhaust, and engine cowlings.
  • When necessary, assist with the preparation of equipment required to be shipped for repair.
  • Attend training schools and seminars that relate to the job requirements of the aircraft and department as directed by the Aviation Maintenance Manager.
  • Responsible for ordering and overseeing inventory related to cleaning supplies.
  • Perform any other duties related to this position and assigned by the Aviation Maintenance Manager
