We’reĀ seeking aĀ Project Architect to join our project team for the design of aĀ confidential integrated resort—a landmark destination envisioned to redefine the relationship between architecture, landscape, and experience.Ā 

SpanningĀ over one million square feet, the project will blendĀ casino, food and beverage, and hotel environmentsĀ withĀ overĀ 75,000 square feetĀ of special venue space, including anĀ award-winning steakhouse, a rooftop bar, a collection of one-of-a-kind lounges and entertainment venues, and a world-class spa.Ā 

The resort will also feature aĀ championship golf courseĀ that connects the built environment to its natural setting in a seamless and dramatic way.Ā 

The guest tower celebratesĀ 500 guest rooms, culminating in a range of scale and luxury experiences, highlighted by theĀ sky suites, offering panoramic views and elevated private experiences.Ā This project embodies the ambition to create a destination that is immersive, contemporary, and unforgettable in every detail.Ā

Your RoleĀ 

As a GenslerĀ ProjectĀ Architect, your jobĀ is to combine creativity and technical knowledge to help guide our clients. You have developed communication and team-building skills which have prepared you to manage projects. In this role, you will have opportunities to develop your existing strengths in design and technical coordination while also beginning to directly manage client relationships.Ā

What You Will DoĀ 

  • ProgrammingĀ 

  • EntitlementsĀ 

  • Lead the project through Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding & Negotiations, Construction Administration and Project Closeout.Ā Ā 

  • Obtain and negotiate consultant proposalsĀ 

  • Prepare Consultant Contracts.Ā 

  • Perform technical design assignments that include programming client needs, diagramming and modeling conceptual strategies, developing conceptual designs into technical studies, and construction documentationĀ 

  • Engage directly with clients in coordination with client or client stakeholders to assure approvalsĀ 

  • Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with engineering and specialty consultantsĀ 

  • Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officialsĀ 

  • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design conceptsĀ 

  • Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricatorsĀ

Your QualificationsĀ 

  • Professional degree in Architecture, demonstrated with a rigorous portfolioĀ 

  • Licensed Architect (US)Ā required; Nevada or NCARB licensure preferredĀ 

  • 8+ years of relevant architectural experience in large scale mixed use, hospitality,Ā casinoĀ and integrated resorts.Ā 

  • LEED accreditation and experience preferredĀ 

  • Revit mastery or other BIM experience highly preferredĀ 

  • Outstanding knowledge of building codes, standards and building structuresĀ 

  • Proficient and confident in public-speaking, and in moderating large teams of consultants, contractors, and clientsĀ 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsĀ 

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituentsĀ
