The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support across various Human Resources functions, with primary responsibilities in recruiting support, onboarding, employee records management, payroll administration, HRIS maintenance, and special projects. This role works closely with the Corporate HR Team and on-site Operations Team to ensure HR processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. You will report to the General Manager.

You Will:

  • Support daily HR administrative functions in partnership with the Corporate HR and Operations teams.
  • Maintain employee personnel files, payroll records, timekeeping documentation, and HRIS data.
  • Administer employee records through ADP Workforce Now.
  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and pre-employment documentation.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including employment paperwork, policy acknowledgments, direct deposit setup, and I-9/E-Verify processing.
  • Respond to routine employee HR inquiries and direct employees to appropriate resources.
  • Assist with employee recognition and engagement programs.
  • Provide administrative support by scheduling meetings, coordinating training sessions, preparing documents, and managing meeting logistics.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials for site meetings and employee programs.
  • Support the administration and communication of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Maintain confidential employee information in accordance with company policies.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

You Have:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in human resources, payroll, recruiting, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience maintaining employee records, personnel files, payroll documentation, and HRIS data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a similar Human Resources Information System (HRIS) preferred.
  • Experience processing new hire documentation, I-9s, E-Verify, and onboarding activities preferred.
