You’ll do more than keep pets safe and comfortable — you’ll help create a calm, Fear Free experience for patients, support veterinarians and technicians in delivering high-quality care, and contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace. What You’ll Do Champion Fear Free: Ensure pets feel safe, calm, and cared for throughout their visit. Support veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures. Care for patients through feeding, bathing, grooming, and monitoring. Keep hospital areas clean, sanitized, and organized to the highest standards. Assist with medications and restraint when needed. Communicate with clients, help with check-ins, and provide discharge support. Maintain accurate records and report any unusual behaviors or health concerns. Partner with teammates to foster a positive, supportive environment. Fear Free Certification (training and certification provided if not already certified). Experience working with animals (2 years as an assistant preferred, not required).
