Seasonal Worker V - Recreation Therapist

Salary: $18.00/hour

Job Duties:

• Responsible for planning, developing and conducting daily classes in independent living skills, various recreation, and leisure time activities for approximately 120 clients each week. 

• Prepares, and sends to the appropriate State and local officials, client evaluations and documentation of individual progress of those consumers, and provides work direction to volunteer staff. 

• Conducts eight or nine three-hour class sessions each week, securing facilities through trade-out and partnership agreements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years minimum experience as a Recreational Therapist. 

• Must possess a Missouri Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements or obtain within 6 months; be certified in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). 

• Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug and background screen.
