Job Description

Are you a mechanically inclined problem-solver who takes pride in "owning" your technology to hit production goals?

Avery Dennison is looking for a Label Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you aren’t just running a machine; you are the "Technical Pilot" ensuring our label production meets exact standards through performance and accountability. We value curiosity—we want someone who wants to understand how the equipment works to prevent waste before it happens.

Shift: 6PM–6AM Sun–Tues; 6PM–12AM Wed

Starting Pay:$18/hr

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Drive Results: Operate label machines efficiently to meet daily deadlines and production targets.

  • Quality & Accountability: Monitor close tolerances and instruments to ensure high-quality output with a "zero-defect" mindset.

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting: Use your aptitude to identify root causes of malfunctions rather than applying "band-aid" fixes.

  • Inventory & Data: Use ERP systems to log materials and time accurately, maintaining a clean and safe "Safety-First" workspace.

  • Agility: Pivot between machine operation and distribution tasks as site priorities shift.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment prefered.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong skills in analyzing and operating complex equipment.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to distinguish colors and read precise measurements.

  • Physical Stamina: Comfort standing for the duration of a shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
