Manufacturing Engineer Intern

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in maintaining and improvement of automation systems, tools, fixtures and gages
• Help to provide safe and efficient work areas
• Help with problem solving/root cause analysis and development of action items
• Support of production to achieve OEE goals and scrap reduction targets
• Assist in new product line launches

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Proficient in CAD, including 2D and 3D modeling
• Demonstrated use of problem solving techniques.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Self directed and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated use of team leading and building techniques.
• Ability to build relationships between departments.
