Maintenance Technician

Overview

Maintenance Technician will perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs on production equipment and building systems.  

Hourly range $23.00-$27.00 

Responsibilities

• Complete Maintenance Work Requests as well as Preventative Maintenance assignments that require electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry skills.
• Solve mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment
• Assist with new equipment installs and startup
• Respond to production emergencies on both first and second shifts
• Demonstrate and help enforce safe work practices
• Be available to work overtime when required

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years’ experience in manufacturing / industrial / building maintenance
• Experience with basic electrical and pneumatic control circuits
• Able to operate powered vehicle equipment including forklifts, platform lifts and Boom Lifts
• Familiarity with basic construction trades (framing, plumbing, electrical wiring, sheet rocking, painting etc.)
• Awareness of environmental rules and regulations helpful

Physical Demand Requirements:

• Standing, walking and moderate lifting (up to50 lbs)
• Must be tolerant of working at heights (up to 30 ft.)
• Clean driver’s license
