This position is responsible and accountable for providing nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab & EP departments.

Required Skills
- Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and invasive tests and their preparations.
- Knowledge and experience with administering of IV and PO drugs and their possible adverse reactions.
- Competent with patient evaluation, physical assessment, and interviewing techniques.
- Knowledge in the legal aspects of nursing.
- Successfully passing safety, cultural sensitivity, and blood pathogen classes.
- Knowledge and experience with conscious sedation medications and their reversal agents.
- Knowledge and demonstrated skill using special equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps, temporary pacemakers, O2 equipment, SPO2 monitors, EKG machines, defibrillators, etc..
Required Experience
Required:Â
- Graduated from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in California.
- BCLS and ACLS certification.
- Evidence of continuing education and self-development
- Minimum of two (2) years ER or ICU experience in a Cardiovascular unit.
- Demonstrates teaching ability in a formal and/or informal setting.Â

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
