Shirley Brasserie at the Hollywood Roosevelt is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the restaurant through an active rebranding and into its next chapter. Located inside one of Hollywood’s most historic hotels, the venue reflects a blend of timeless elegance and modern sophistication, offering French influenced California cuisine, an energetic dining room, and a service experience rooted in hospitality and technical finesse.
This role is a hands-on leadership position focused on elevating service standards, strengthening team culture, and ensuring the successful execution of the new concept. The General Manager will translate the evolving brand vision into daily operations, support culinary and F&B leadership throughout the relaunch process, and guide the front of house team through ongoing transformation. The position requires a leader who can mentor and develop staff, provide clear and direct expectations, and maintain accountability while fostering a positive and professional work environment.
Key responsibilities include directing front of house operations, delivering a high level of guest engagement, supporting menu and service transitions tied to the rebrand, and ensuring consistent execution during all meal periods. The General Manager will also oversee labor management, cost controls, and financial performance while maintaining the integrity of the new concept.
Required experience includes at least three years of restaurant management in a fine dining or elevated dining environment, strong knowledge of service leadership, and the ability to lead teams during periods of change. Wine knowledge and experience with openings or relaunches are strongly preferred.
