About The Position
 We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. Starting on 06/02/2025, this role offers a four-day work week with 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid break. The position focuses on providing comprehensive pediatric care, including routine well-child visits, developmental screenings, immunizations, vision and hearing checks, and guidance on nutrition, safety, and growth milestones. Additionally, the NP will be responsible for managing acute illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, ear infections, gastroenteritis, and influenza. This opportunity requires expertise in pediatric care and may extend beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct routine well-child visits and developmental screenings
• Administer immunizations according to recommended schedules
• Perform vision and hearing checks
• Provide guidance on nutrition, safety, and growth milestones
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses in pediatric patients
• Utilize Nextgen electronic health record system
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Deliver high-quality pediatric care in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Collaborate with other specialists as needed for comprehensive patient care
Additional Information:
• California state NP license required
• Pediatric certification preferred
• Experience in managing common pediatric conditions essential
