Position: Highway Construction Skills Training (HCST) Coordinator

Location: Madison, WI and cover services in Beloit and Janesville

In this role, you are responsible for coordinating the recruiting, training, and job placements for the Highway Construction Skills Training (HCST) program. HCST Coordinator provides individuals with the essential training they need to begin a career in road construction. Your work will directly contribute to the personal and professional growth of the individuals we serve. Read about the program

Position Overview- Key Responsibilities (Full details on attached job description):

• Lead community outreach and recruitment efforts
• Screen applicants and assess skills, barriers and career goals
• Facilitate or coordinate road construction-focused training
• Provide career counseling, job readiness support and referrals
• Placing graduates into careers in road construction
• Support career advancement and deliver wraparound services to help clients achieve long-term self-sufficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field
• Experience designing and leading group trainings and career readiness sessions
• A genuine commitment to helping others succeed
• Have valid driving license and be insurable
