Job description:

• Must have previous long-term care/senior living experience.
• Supports and delivers the highest level of nutrition care to residents to meet the customer’s overall needs.

• Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status.
• Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes
• Comply with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, policies, and CMS regulations
• Collaborate with IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) to provide quality nutrition and culinary program
• Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies
• Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen
• Implement Health & Wellness initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills to encourage changes in nursing and kitchen management.
• 1-3 years of long-term care and Registered Dietitian experience.
• Basic Functional experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian·
• Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
