Aqua Finance is seeking a Business Intelligence Reporting Intern to support the development and enhancement of data reporting and analytics solutions. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with Power BI, SSRS, and SQL to build dashboards and reports, support data source transitions, and help automate monthly reporting processes in partnership with the FP&A team. This internship offers meaningful, project-based experience for students interested in data analytics, business intelligence, and transforming data into actionable insights.Â

Essential Functions Â
Contribute to a reporting development project by building Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports using SQL to support business decision-makingÂ
Participate in a data migration project to transition existing SSRS management reports from current Snowflake data sources to the Snowflake Common data tablesÂ
Collaborate on a reporting automation project with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to develop Power BI and SSRS reports that streamline monthly reporting processesÂ

Technical SkillsÂ
Apply and strengthen SQL coding skills through real-world reporting and data validationÂ
Develop Power BI and SSRS reporting skills by creating dashboards and management reports used by the businessÂ
Gain exposure to Snowflake and modern data architecture as part of a data transition project (prior experience helpful but not required)Â
Build professional communication and collaboration skills by working cross-functionally with FP&A and analytics teamsÂ
Â
Required Education and ExperienceÂ
Currently enrolled at a University or College at a minimum of Junior Undergraduate StatusÂ
Pursuing a degree in business intelligence, data analytics, information systems, business, finance, computer science, or a related fieldÂ
Completion of relevant coursework related to your field of study prior to the start of the internshipÂ
Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Internship will run from mid-May through mid-AugustÂ
Ability to commit to 40 hours per week during the internship periodÂ
Availability to participate for at least 9 weeks of the 12-week programÂ
This is an onsite internship; interns will be required to work at our corporate location in Wausau, WI for the duration of the internship.Â
