Summary:

State Licensed Optician assigned primarily to the retail floor. Sell eyewear products and services utilizing the SERVE selling strategy to Super Serve the Customer鈥檚 needs.In addition to selling associate will handle routine supervisory functions such as: open/close duties, transaction approvals, and customer problem resolution.

Essential Responsibilities:

1.聽聽聽聽聽 Complete retail final inspection of all eyewear and dispense eyewear to ensure accuracy of prescription, fit and comfort to include the dispense with the 7-Point Quality Check.

2.聽聽聽聽聽 Answer telephone promptly and professionally or a prompt greeting and obtain prescription for in-store customers. Be able to provide the potential customer with basic information such as: starting price points for lenses, current in-store promotions, Doctor鈥檚 phone number, Unbeatable Price Guarantee, invite them into the store and thank them for calling.

3.聽聽聽聽聽 Identify customer鈥檚 needs through Lifestyle selling techniques and match frame to customer鈥檚 face shape and prescription and utilize the Lens Selling Kit to assist in educating the customer throughout the sales process to increase their knowledge and understanding of available lens options.

4.聽聽聽聽聽 Stock, clean, and straighten displays; clean and organize the entire store, ensure frames are ticketed properly.

5.聽聽聽聽聽 Adjust and repair eyewear and process defective, spoiled, and cannibalized frames.

6.聽聽聽聽聽 Complete Company required training programs.

7.聽聽聽聽聽 Follow Company safety rules and standards.

8.聽聽聽聽聽 Perform all opening procedures to include making a timely and accurate bank deposit, verify cash on hand, open POS system and sign and file POS reports.

9.聽聽聽聽聽 Complete all end-of-day reports, run POS reports, count cash at final closing and prepare the deposit.

10.聽聽 Contact a member of the management team regarding any associate issues that involve Progressive Discipline.

11.聽聽 Refer customer service issues that cannot be solved to the next scheduled member of the management team.

12.聽聽 Other duties as assigned by management to include cross training.

Experience/Education:

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 One (1) year of related experience

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Opticians State License required

Additional Requirements:
