Responsibilities

  • Conducts complex financial analysis and modeling to provide actionable information and prepares recommendations for policies, procedures, controls, or actions.
  • Analyzes financial information to assess present financial performance and predict future financial performance. Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly.
  • Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records, operational productivity metrics and financial statements
  • Directs preparation of studies, reports, and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, , cash flow projections, and business forecasts.
  • Partners with various company stakeholders to understand objectives and provide support through utilization of company data to drive informed decision making.
  • Establishes databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.
  • Makes recommendations to operation management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.
  • Researches and prepares economic reports on subjects such as rate of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements.
  • Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, accounting theory, or customer financial regulations.
  • Qualifications

    • Proficient with spreadsheets and database software or accounting applications.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects quickly and accurately.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines with appropriate attention to detail.

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

    Experience Requirements

    • Five years’ experience in accounting and/or finance.
