Industrial Painter

Job Summary

• Surface Preparation: Clean, scrape, sand, and repair surfaces (walls, wood, metal) by filling holes and cracks with putty or plaster, then apply primers or sealers.

• Application: Use brushes, rollers, or sprayers to apply paints, varnishes, and sealants to achieve desired colors and textures.

• Color Mixing: Mix and match paints to achieve specific colors and shades, often following color theory principles.

• Protection: Cover furniture, floors, and fixtures with drop cloths and tape to protect them from paint drips.

• Safety & Cleanup: Adhere to health and safety standards, maintain a clean workspace, and care for tools and equipment. 

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure a smooth, flawless finish.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various environments (heights, different weather).

• Tool Proficiency: Mastery of hand tools and painting equipment.

• Communication: Effectively communicate with clients and team members. 

Work Environments

• Residential: Homes and apartments.

• Commercial: Offices, retail spaces, and large buildings.

• Industrial: Machinery, bridges, and large structures.
