Wes Carver Electric is seeking a skilled, customer-focused Electrician to join our team. This role plays a direct part in company profitability, operational efficiency, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates clearly with customers, and consistently meets performance standards.

Our technicians average between $75,000 and $110,000 per year.
The average salary for our technicians is around $90,000.
Our higher level technicians make over $110,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical & Technical Execution
    • Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing residential electrical systems (with occasional light commercial work)
    • Respond to service calls, perform planned maintenance, inspections, and new installations
    • Ensure all work complies with company standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
    • Verify all completed work to prevent errors and callbacks

  • Customer Experience & Sales
    • Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor on every job
    • Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after work is performed
    • Build trust and clearly explain recommended services and their necessity. Never recommend or sell unnecessary services or products!
    • Present pricing using the Straight Forward Pricing Guide.
    • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
    • Deliver invoices and collect payment upon job completion

  • Standards & Professionalism
    • Wear company-issued uniform and ID at all times
    • Protect customer property using floor savers, boot covers, and drop cloths
    • Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles

  • Communication & Teamwork
    • Communicate daily with the Manager or CSR regarding job status, scheduling, and issues
    • Debrief with the office after each service call
    • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
    • Contribute positively to company culture and teamwork
    • Supervise and support other team members when required

  • Operational & Performance Expectations
    • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals, conversion rates, and average ticket metrics
    • Maintain accurate truck inventory and material organization
    • Prioritize safety on the job and while driving
    • Work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

  • Schedule
    • Full-time position
    • Some nights, weekends, on-call shifts, and overtime required
    • Flexible end times based on workload
    • Typical workdays usually conclude between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM


Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum of four years of relevant electrical experience
    • Strong working knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair

    • Capable of climbing ladders and working on roofs and scaffolding
    • Able to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
